This course gives insight into people’s personalities, development, experiences, and needs according to their age grouping. It’s imperative to understand whom we teach, as well as what we teach. (ETA required course)

The Truth About World Views

This course analyzes the main world religions, cults, and philosophical systems as worldviews and presents ways to bridge the Gospel to them. In a world where multiple "truths" abound, Christians must be well informed of these other worldviews or risk being deceived. (ETA elective course)

New Testament Survey

This course brings unity and chronological sequence to New Testament study by weaving the contents of the 27 biblical books around a central theme--the person of Christ. Divisions are the synoptic Gospels, the Gospel of John, the Book of Acts, the Pauline Epistles in chronological order, the General Epistles, and the Book of Revelation. (ETA required course)

Daniel

This course studies the biblical book of Daniel to understand the detailed prophecies presented and to lay the groundwork for interpreting Revelation. From the fiery furnace to the lion's den, the modern believer will also be challenged to stand for God in dark days as Daniel did. (Central Penn Diploma elective)

Understanding Music and Worship

This course focuses on the important relationship between music and worship, examining the biblical foundations, an historical overview, and practical instruction on how to renew both music and worship within the church. (ETA Elective course)
